Questlove To Score Movie Starring Kid Cudi & Zoe Kravitz
Upcoming indie film Vincent N Roxxy will soon be laced with the musical talents of none other than Questlove. The Gary Michael Schultz-directed movie will star Emile Hirsch, Zoë Kravitz, Kid Cudi and more, and will revolve around a “small town loner” (Hirsh) who falls in love with a punk rocker (Kravitz) and the drama they begin to ensue shortly after. Vincent N Roxxy will debuts next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.

So far, The Life of Pablo is only available to stream on TIDAL. You can’t buy it anywhere, you can’t stream it anywhere else – that’s it. There are rumors that a hard copy is supposed to be released, but while we wait for that confirmation, Ye is already hard at work on another album – due out this summer. Last night, Ye hit the studio with producer Mike Dean, along with Kid Cudi and Plain Pat, for what Ye’s barber Ibn Jasper says was the first Turbo Grafx 16 session. Totally excited for more new Kanye music and all – but am I the only one who would just appreciate a normal release? I get it, I get it – the fanfare, crazy tweets and false promises (hello, G.O.O.D. Fridays – are you there?) lead to more headlines and I suppose ultimately boost Ye’s name and music… But I just want a regular album that I can download on iTunes or buy in the store, and have it not come with a ton of crazy Kanye tweets and antics. Am I asking for too much here?!

Kid Cudi kicked off the New Year with a special gift to fans in the Glendale area of Los Angeles by inviting them out to check out the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens film. Last night, the rapper sent out an open invitation via Twitter telling fans if they brought an official piece of Kid Cudi merchandise they would get one ticket to the show. He wrote, “It’s Star Wars. Why Not!” adding, “I thought it would be cool to start the year off watching a great film for the 3rd time with some great company!” Of course Cudi fans came out and took advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime experience flooding social media with tons of photos and videos.
