(Photos) Lil Kim Facing Lawsuit Over Face

Not her face, though. The Queen Bee is currently in a legal battle with Canadian makeup artist Samantha Ravndahl, who claims the raptress took her creation (above) off of Reddit and used it online to promote her music…with zero credit to Samantha. Back in November, Sam sent a cease and desist for Kim to pull the image, but nothing happened. Now Samantha and her lawyer are preparing to sue for a $150k minimum. I’m not sure she really has a case, though, as it was only Instagram and the artwork for a single that wasn’t sold for profit. Also, a quick glance at Kimmy’s IG and I don’t see the photo anywhere. I’m thinking this won’t get too much further.

NBA: James Harden Claims Self Defense In Lawsuit Of Lakers Fan He Punched

James Harden is still not necessarily saying he in fact did punch a Lakers fan back in November, but IF he did it was in self defense. That is according to a counter-suit he filed against the fan after the fan filed a lawsuit against the bearded star. The fan is claiming Harden punched him after he yelled “Kobe owns your ass”. Harden’s version of the story goes he believed the guy posed a threat to him and the people he was with at that moment. He is looking for a judge to dismiss the case immediately and force the fan to pay for his legal fees. There will still be some time before this is settled.

Rick Ross Sues Who For Copyright Infringement?!

Just a few days after winning a lawsuit brought upon himself, Rick Ross has embarked on his own lawsuit against the quirky LMFAO group, hit the jump for more!

Johnny Depp Settles In ‘Concert Brawl’ Lawsuit

Johnny Depp realized it’s better to pay a little cash to rid himself of a woman who claims the actor’s bodyguard beat the crap out of her. Depp was at an Iggy Pop concert in L.A. in 2011 when a woman sitting next to him claims “she got up and danced a little too close to him … and she says the bodyguards unloaded on her … allegedly dragging her to the ground, causing her pants to slip down to her ankles and “exposing her buttocks to other Hollywood Palladium Theater patrons.” She also claimed “severe injuries and filed a police report, but cops never bought her story and law enforcement sources told us she was just plain wasted. She subsequently sued Depp and others.” The woman — Robin Eckert, who claims to be a professor of medicine at U.C. Irvine — has settled her lawsuit. We don’t know how much Eckert got, but we hear it’s worth it!

Rick Ross Wins Big In Court….Against Rick Ross

The lawsuit that has been going on for years has finally come to an end! (Though I could have sworn this issue was put to bed already…but whatevz!) The rapper Rick Ross won in court against the drug lord Rick Ross (aka Freeway Ricky Ross), who had filed suit in 2010 for copyright infringement (I’m typing that in my Nicki Minaj voice from “Get Silly.”) The judge residing on the case, Judge Roger Boren, ruled that Rozay was protected under the first amendment. “We recognize that Roberts’ work — his music and persona as a rap musician — relies to some extent on plaintiff’s name and persona,” Judge Boren said. “Roberts chose to use the name ‘Rick Ross.’ He raps about trafficking in cocaine and brags about his wealth. These were ‘raw materials’ from which Roberts’ music career was synthesized. But these are not the ‘very sum and substance’ of Roberts’ work.” Aka…Rozay lies in his songs, so it’s fine. LOL!

NFL: Woman Suing Redskins’ Fred Davis Again This Time For Saying She Runs a Prostitution Ring

A woman named Makini Chaka sued Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis for allegedly assaulting her in a nightclub in 2011.  Chaka accused Davis of throwing a drink at her and striking her in the lip with a champagne bottle.  She was awarded $19,761 for her injuries and emotional distress but apparently that wasn’t enough because she’s suing him again.
