A former intern at Atlantic Records has brought a class action lawsuit against WMG to “recover claimed unpaid minimum wages and overtime wages” for a group that’s apparently more than 100 people strong. This is the first of its kind to be filed in the music industry. Don’t these kids understand what paying dues mean?! This is entertainment…we’ve ALL interned at some point. SMH! Whew! Beyonce Settles $100 Million Lawsuit
Beyonce may have 99 problems, but money is definitely NOT one of them. Jay-Z’s beloved wifey recently settled a $100 million dollar lawsuit against a video game company called Gate Five after she supposedly backed out of a deal. The agreement was for a “motion-capture dance game called “Starpower: Beyonce.” According to Gate Five’s lawyer Peter Gallagher, both parties “settled amicably.” However, Gallagher also discussed that although the situation has been cleared, no details of the settlement can be discussed. In translation: Beyonce just paid them whatever they wanted so they could stop hounding her. According to sources, Bey turned down the deal around holiday time in December, claiming that Game Five hadn’t “secured promised funding.” Can’t blame Bey for being about her money.

Lawsuits are no laughing matter, but the way Ciara was served legal papers last night is! While performing at LA Pride, someone slipped the singer the documents about a lawsuit they have filed against her. Ciara quickly glanced at them, throw them right back at the woman who served them, and quickly moved to the other side of the stage while still singing. The singer is being sued for bailing on a show that is scheduled for Friday. Watch the hilarious serving below.
