Ever wish you could disappear and just be somewhere else? Well, fill out your application for the Mars One project launching in 2023. Over 8000 have already applied to be on a team of astronauts that will go and live and build a community on Mars with scientists, Nobel Prize winners and geniuses who have already been working on this project for two years. Those selected will go through an eight year training period before going away for forever. If you want to come back, you’re SOL; the reason the trip one way is because the technology exists to go there but not to come back, so be wise in what you choose. Check out the video after the jump.

This will be definitely be the newest honeymoon trend for celebrities! The first space tourist and tycoon, Dennis Tito, is funding a trip for a couple to spend a year and a half in a confined space on Mar. The program is taking place in 2018 because that is when the orbits are closest together and won’t happen again until 2031. The couple will spend 501 days in a zero gravity environment probably driving themselves mad. Would you do this with someone you loved? Check out the video after the jump.

Apparently this is just how Erykah wants it, judging by her response to Jay posting a pic of Mars to his Instagram over the weekend.
