A few months back, Love & Hip-Hop creator Mona Scott-Young revealed that her popular reality series would be spinning off once again, choosing Los Angeles as the location when presented with 3 options: there, Houston or New Orleans. Early reports suggested some major names were in talks to be a part of the cast, including Karrueche Tran, Tyga and Blac Chyna, Lola Monroe and Ray J, though Karrueche has since shot down the rumors.
As we head into 2014 (and production is likely gearing up to begin), more details have been revealed, and it seems that Ray J’s “maybe” has turned into a definitive no. Previously a VH1 family member as the star of his own reality dating show, “For The Love of Ray J,” Ray went on to the Oxygen channel as host of their “Bad Girls Club All-Stars” show, and the contract will not allow for him to flip-flop between networks. However, it seems like an even bigger star is ready to step up: The Game! Having just wrapped two seasons of his show “Marrying The Game,” the newly single rapper (more on that here) just met with Mona and her team, posting the photo to Instagram with the hashtag #LHHLA and warning people that they should be nervous. That should be interesting!
There are a few castmates definitely confirmed for now, however: singer Brooke Valentine (jeez…remember that 2005 song “Girlfight”?!,) radio DJ Yesi Ortiz, rapper Hazel-E, and video vixen Bria Myles.
