Anytime a tragedy happens in our country, us as Americans pull together to comfort one another. The show Family Guy, which is most known for portraying a dysfunctional American family often seems like their use of violence and sexual content is limitless to get the enjoyment of their viewers, but the recently pulled their new episode from airing. A network source indicated that the change was made to avoid airing any potentially sensitive content in light of Friday’s elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn., which has now reportedly left 28 people dead (including 20 children). The tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut is truly devastating. It was initially reported that a 20 something year old man with ties to Sandy Hook Elementary named Ryan Lanza was the monster who killed the 26 souls in the school. Since then, we’ve come to know that the actual shooter’s name is Adam Lanza, Ryan’s younger brother. However, another Ryan Lanza has been wrongfully accused whose face is already on multiple websites linking him as the killer.
