NFL: Ravens Beat Patriots In AFC Title Game & Advance to Super Bowl!
Congrats to the Ravens!! They beat the Patriots 28-13 in the AFC Championship game! Earlier the 49ers beat the Falcons 28-24 and that means the Super Bowl is officially set!!! It may not be my Giants, but it should be a great game. Congrats to the Harbaugh brothers on making history! Next week is the Pro Bowl and then Feb. 3rd is the Super Bowl. NFL: Chip Kelly & Michael Vick Meet
You might be wondering why am I doing a story on new Eagles coach Chip Kelly meeting Mike Vick for the first time. Well it is because this hiring is what could possibly save the career of Vick, at least in Philly. If you know college football, then you know Kelly LOVES that spread option offense that he used at Oregon. Vick , with his athleticism would be a perfect fit to run a version of that in the NFL. Philly definitely needs to get healthy on the offensive line and better in general to protect Vick better. He is proving that even though he is fast and athletic, he is very prone to injuries because he is not the biggest guy. And at the NFL level running that spread option could at times leave the QB open to some big hits, ( ask RG3). But this seriously could be the chance Vick has wanted to get his career back in the direction it was supposed to go. Not like the past couple seasons. Still remains to be seen if Vick will even be in Philly next season with the contract issue, but with the coach they hired, they just made it easier for him to succeed. IamJOE357

NFL: Alicia Keys Will Sing National Anthem At Super Bowl XLVII
With all the female star power scheduled to be at this years Super Bowl, I am not sure if the show on the field or the show from the singers will be better to watch. We all know Beyonce will be performing during half time, and you know she is going to kill that! Now it is reported that Alicia Keys will sing the national anthem to kicks things off that night. Beautiful woman and football, isn’t America great sometimes. Even though my Giants did not even make the playoffs, I still can not wait for the big game. With Alicia and Beyonce singing you should make sure you are in front of the TV before the game and during halftime. IamJOE357
