This will come as no surprise to anyone. It is being reported in Philly this morning that coach Andy Reid will be fired by the Philadelphia Eagles after 14 seasons as coach. After another season in which the team as a whole completely underachieved, Reid has been on the hot seat pretty much all season long. The past couple years, at least on paper, the Eagles should of been one of the better teams in the NFL. But with constant injuries to quarterback Michael Vick, inconsistent play by the offensive line, and a defense that has just been horrible, it appears ownership in Philly is fed up. Will also be no shock if Vick winds up being let go. I still think Reid is a good coach. Whenever you coach for a long time in one city, there are bound to be some bad seasons. I know some people won’t agree with me here, but I’m glad to see that Chad and Evelyn are trying to work things out. I believe everyone deserves a second chance – if anything happens after that though…it’s a wrap! We’ve heard rumors that the two were back together and now Ocho & Eve were spotted having dinner at South Street restaurant in Miami. It’s the first time we’ve seen them in public together since that whole mess. Chad held a last fan appreciation dinner of 2012 for his fans. NFL: Sean Payton Will Be Back With Saints
Saints fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Coach Sean Payton will not be going anywhere else next season. Ever since the NFL decided his original contract with the Saints was void because of certain terminology in the contract, Saints fans and players have been wondering will he try and resign a new deal or look elsewhere. After all, he is one of the most sought after coaches in the league. But earlier today everything fell into place as he agreed to a new extension. NFL:(Photos) Tony Romo Visits Children’s Hospital
I am a DIEHARD Giants fan, so it is in my DNA to hate anyone who plays quarterback, especially this Romo guy. But at times like this you have to drop your hate and show love. Romo took some time out during the holidays to bring some smiles and cheer to kids at the Children’s Hospital in Dallas. For some of these kids seeing him there was literally the highlight of their year, let alone Christmas. NFL: (Report) Rex Ryan Wants To Get Fired??
Now if I was part of the Jets organization I probably would want to be fired also. They became a joke in the NFL this season. More of a show off the field instead of on it. It is being reported that coach Rex Ryan would rather be fired if things do not change with the team this off-season. Mainly reports say he is referring to owner Woody Johnson making some changes regarding personnel. It is not likely he will be fired since he is still owed $6 million, but you never know. In my opinion he should be fired because he himself causes the circus like atmosphere that surrounds the team at times. Most believe that also includes offensive coordinator Tony Soprano, who’s suspect play calling considering the team they have was bad most of the season. NFL: Evelyn Lozada Addresses Chad Johnson Sex Tape!!
Earlier this morning the news broke that a Chad Johnson sex tape leaked and he even commented about it. Earlier this month, Evelyn & Chad went to court where Evelyn asked the judge to drop the restraining order that was placed against Chad and word was that they were hoping work things out.
