The Braves added another W to the book last night beating the Phillies 2-1. Despite having one of the starters out the guys did a great job on the field. James Russell (Wood’s Replacement) took charge for the night and started off the game. Last night was his first time starting since 2011!
Nas Possibly Hitting The Stage In Queens For A Concert?!?!
Nasty Nas is possibly putting on a concert in his hometown of Queens, NY sometime during mid-july at Citi-Field. The legendary emcee is set to perform during the 2013 MLB All-Star Weekend. Nas is also scheduled to headline for the Summer Postgame Concert Series after the Mets vs. Phillies game.

I’ve never been big into fads or rituals, but this is new to me and I just don’t understand it. Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard married his longtime girlfriend (ex Eagles cheerleader) Krystle Campbell a beach in Hawaii this past Saturday. Afterwards the two participated in what’s called, “Trash the Dress.” Apparently it’s a new trend where newlyweds destroy the bride’s wedding gown (usually at a beach or lake but dirt, stones and fire has been used) and you make sure you film it so you can proudly display it later.
