Guess Which 2 Celebs Were Named The Most Marketable In Show Business In Recent Study!

Market-research firm The NPD Group conducted a recent study about the marketability of our favorite celebs in entertainment today, and you may be pretty surprised by the results! He may not be topping charts right now, but singer-songwriter Ne-Yo took the top spot based on brand endorsements, followed by Usher, Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Kevin Hart and Dr. Dre. As for the ladies, Rihanna was named the most marketable, followed by Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Khloé Kardashian. Not only was Rih-Rih the top female – she was first overall!


Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ Just Became The First Album To Be Certified 30x Platinum

And the greatest just became greater. Today, the RIAA announced that Michael Jackson’s iconic album Thriller (released in 1982,) just became the first album ever to be certified platinum a whopping 30 times in the United States. Lil Durk Reacts To His Mixtape Being Streamed One Million Times In Six Hours

Just before Christmas, Lil Durk gifted fans with a brand new 19-track mixtape last night. 300 Days, 300 Nights contains features from his rumored girlfriend DeJ Loaf, Meek Mill, Future and more…and it’s moving out here! In just six hours, the tape was streamed a whopping one million times, proving the streets are definitely checking for the Chicago rapper! Terrence J Is Leaving E! News

After nearly three years as a co-host, Terrence J will be leaving his gig at E! News. “I think in order for someone to grow, it’s important that you try new things and you create new challenges, create new dreams for yourself,” Terrence said in an announcement on the show last night. “I love you guys to the bottom of my heart. I love this crew. I love working with you guys. But it’s important I grow, and I wanted to leave on my own terms and when I was ready.” He will be going on to pursue his career in film. He most recently produced and starred in his first feature film this summer, The Perfect Match, so he’s certainly thriving. I’m happy to see Terrence continue to strive for more and keep growing! Congrats!


J. Cole Signs 2 New Artists To Dreamville

Last week, J. Cole revealed in a series of tweets that he would soon be dropping his Dreamville Records compilation project, Revenge of the Dreamers II. The release date was set for this coming Friday (December 11,) and prior to its release, he began gifting select fans with a private link to the project on social media. Apparently, this inspired Cole to go for yet another surprise, and instead of waiting until Friday, he made the project available on Monday night, December 7. Cole’s Dreamville artists, Bas, Omen and Cozz, all make appearances throughout the 9-track tape, but there were two new names in there as well: Ari Lennox and Lute. Turns out – they’re the newest Dreamville signees!


Chance The Rapper Tapped To Perform On SNL

A huge moment in Chance The Rapper’s career will be happening in just a few weeks. The 22-year-old Chicago rapper (and new father) has been tapped as the featured performer on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live! Alongside host Chris Hemsworth, Chance will take the stage for what will be his first-ever appearance on the iconic late-night show on December 12. Congrats!
