In remembrance of the September 11 attacks, President Obama and first lady Michelle, along with the entire White House staff takes a moment of silence. The gathering took place on the south lawn of the White House at 8:46 a.m. – the exact time the first World Trade Center tower was hit on September 11, 2001. 9/11 Victim Remains Returned To World Trade Center For Memorial Museum!?
Years later unidentified remains of victims from 9/11 are returned to the World Trade Center after being held at the coroner’s office. Some family members are protesting by wearing black tape and cloths over their mouths. Read more on the story below!
12 Years Later And 9/11 Is Still Affecting Many Americans!!
September 11, 2001 is a wound that all Americans deal with on a daily basis. Twelve years later, there is still a scar left–a big one. As recent as July of this year, remains of firefighters killed were found; adding to the death toll. But, as devastating as that is, many Americans that have lived through the terror of what happened have now been dealing with sicknesses related to 9/11 exposure, otherwise known as World Trade Center-related cancer.
Part Of 9/11 Plane’s Landing Gear Found Years Later
Nearly 11 and half years later, NYPD found a part of what may be the landing gear of one of the planes from September 11. The piece was wedged between a building near the World Trade Center site.
