NFL: Black Officers Defend The Rams’ ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’

The Ethical Society of Police (ESOP), representing a majority of black officers in St. Louis, has taken a bold stand and issued a statement supporting the Rams’ Hands Up, Don’t Shoot gesture. ESOP goes on to explain that there is slim to no black representation on the boards of the Fraternal Order of Police & the Police Officers Association. So, they broke away, expressing 100% support to the Rams, calling their actions “commendable,” even praising them on “taking a stand on this very important issue.” Read the actual statement issued by these African-American officers after the jump!

Kevin Straub, a 15-year-old from Missouri is convicted of 10 years in prison for beating his 42-year-old teacher at Innovative Concept Academy in St. Louis. The teacher was beaten so bad that he had suffered a stoke from the beatdown. Check out the video and read more on the story after the jump!

Fast Food Strike Gone Wild – Arrests In The Thousands!!!

In a stand to go from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour, McDonalds, Wendy’s and Burger King workers go on strike all across the globe. The protests turned into arrests today in New York City’s Times Square as the demonstrators sat in the middle of the streets and blocked traffic. 14 men and five women were taken down by police. It’s not just New York state where these strikes are taking place. Workers in more than 100 cities across the country have participated in the strike to make a higher earning. Detroit, Chicago and Las Vegas have taken part. It’s even gone as far as the strikers leaving their cities to form bigger crowds in other cities. St. Louis and Ferguson, MO workers took plane and train trips paid for by the striker’s coalition and SEIU to NYC. Check down bottom for more.

(Graphic Video) Caught On Tape: St. Louis Police Shoot And Kill Young Black Man Screaming “Shoot Me”

This is really sad, and over some soda. Allegedly 25 yr old Kajieme Powell took 2 sodas from the local corner store, and from the tape you can see he was agitated, walking back and forth with the sodas on the ground saying “I’m tired of this s**t”. The clerk from the store was standing and watching from a distance, telling the person video taping that he was waiting for the police to come, in which the person taping was laughing at the time.
