Business Is BOOMING For Boston Company That Ironically Has The Same Name As Bey & Jay’s Baby
What are the odds? A Boston-based company by the name of Blue Ivy has [unsurprisingly] seen a HUGE boost in business since news broke that music royalty Beyonce & Jay-Z named their newborn the same name. The owner Veronica Alexandra told TMZ she’s been all sorts of calls since the name was announced, and that she’d love to have the baby be the face of her company. “Clearly great minds think alike,” she joked. “And who better than our Blue Ivy to plan events for B&J’s Blue Ivy!?” I think she caught a pretty awesome break! Two people cited for shoplifting became victims of a crime themselves. While they were questioned in the shoplifting case, police say someone broke into their vehicle and stole a stereo and several other items. Nah this is karma working to fast! Odd Future Pop-Up Shop Coming To L.A.
Pop-up shops are the new in-thing now, huh? Since the summer we’ve already seen a Watch the Throne one pop up, a Shady Records one and a still-open Beats By Dre store (open through January 2012). Now on the opposite coast, Tyler and co. are gearing up for a pop-up shop of their own. The Golf Wang shop is opening this Friday in L.A., and will be open to the public for 6 weeks, 12-5pm daily. According to the guys, “[Odd Future] Merch, The GOLF Line, And Other Cool Bull Shit Will Be In The Store (and only the store, some stuff will not see the online store, and every week we add some new shit).” Sounds pretty dope!
