Kendrick Lamar on his ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’LP had some lines that caught my attention. He said, “I know if I’m generous at heart, I don’t need recognition. The way I’m rewarded, well, that’s God’s decision. I know you know that line’s for Compton School District.” He quite possibly could soon be writing about, his hometown school, the Compton Unified School District getting sued by parents and students.

It seems like a few artists have been in hot water with court cases in the past couple of months. Next up to have a lawsuit against them, Chief Keef. The CEO of The FN Media Group, Joey Capers has filed a default judgment of $23,500 against Keith Cozart who goes by the name Chief Keef and his manager Idris “Peeda Pan” Abdul Wahid. He also filed against Keef’s label Glory Boyz Entertainment, Global Touring and his former management team Uncle Ro MGMT. The rapper is getting sued because he was scheduled to perform a show in Philly back in December of 2012. Capers is claiming that Keef skipping out on the show caused his business to be “destroyed.” Check out some of the documents in the gallery!

Once again, Donald Sterling faces a lawsuit regarding unfair treatment and racism. This time around, Sterling is being sued by a tenant from one of his apartment buildings. The tenant, who JUST so happens to be African-American, complained to Sterling about bed bug infestation; however, the complaints went on deaf ears.
