Hailo, an app that provides taxi service, will finally launch beta service in NYC. In an email sent out by Jay Bregman, Founder and CEO says,”Over the next few weeks, we’ll be inviting passengers onto the service in groups.”

New start Uber decided to pull its services from NYC cabs. Seems as if city officials were giving the start up some trouble. I actucally used the app recently while out of town and everything went smooth. The idea of calling a cab via an app should be a sure fire hit. Especially in a city like NY.
