With his major label debut set to drop tomorrow, GoldLink decided to hit his fans off with a track off At What Cost. “SummaTime” features D.C. natives Wale and Radiant Children. Give it a listen after the jump!
Earlier this week Rick Ross released his ninth studio album Rather You Than Me. Wow! The MMG head boss did it big with the features, bringing in names such as 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and even Nas! After releasing a few singles off the project, Rozay went on to drop some music videos as well. Check out the most recent visual for “Trap Trap Trap” with Young Thug and Wale!
Wale has been consistently feeding fans with new music since the top of the year. The MMG artist compiled some of those songs together among a few more and dished out a brand new project. Check out “You Got It” off the mixtape Before I Shine!
MMG hasn’t been on the right page for some time. Wale and Meek Mill had quite the tiff over the last couple of years, with Meek at one point even telling Wale that he’s no longer on the label. (Of course, Meek did not have any authority to actually say so, and Wale is, in fact, very much still on the label.) Thankfully, that’s all water under the bridge now.
Wale is gearing up for the release of his next album SHiNE, and in support, the DMV rapper will be hitting the road! The Shine Tour kicks off in ATL this May, then hits some major cities around the U.S. before wrapping in Boston about a month later. Wale also promises more dates will be added. Check out the list of dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
Every now and again Wale displays his Nigerian roots by remixing new music coming out Africa. The MMG rapper recently jumped on Burna Boy’s “Soke” for his own freestyle. Give it a listen after the jump!
Eric Bellinger joined forces with Wale once again on his latest song “Treat Yourself” off the upcoming project Eric B. For President: Term 2. Stay tuned for that, dropping on March 10th!
You may remember Wale’s “Groundhog Day”, released back in December, which served as a response to J. Cole’s “False Prophets”. The MMG rapper decided to take the track and create an extended spoken word version.
As Wale prepares for the release of his next project S.H.I.N.E., he keeps holding fans down with new content. The DC rapper recently jumped on Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and gave it his own twist. Give it a listen after the jump!
TMZ caught up with Wale outside of popular Hollywood spot The Nice Guy last night, and he had some interesting thoughts about Donald Trump. Don’t get it twisted – the DC native isn’t here for the “wild person” that our President is – but he does believe that he’s creating unity among groups that previously didn’t see eye-to-eye. He explains below.
