Mr. 106 gets on the instrumental to Tha Dogg Pound’s 1995 banger “New York, New York.” It was on the album Dogg Food. On his rendition, Bow Wow boasts about how he’s “putting up numbers like Lebron on ni**as/took over BET, I’m on my grind, my ni**a.” Listen to the track after the jump.
21-year-old Widner “Flow” DeGruy has been arrested in connection with a murder and robbery. Flow was featured on Wayne’s 2011 Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape and last year’s Dedication 4, and by the looks of his Twitter, was co-signed by all the members of the Young Money team. Flow was arrested in Oakland, California by a U.S. Marshal’s task force and taken back to his hometown in Louisiana. He is being held in St. Bernard Parish Prison on $350,000 bond.
Tons of artists would kill to get on Lil Wayne’s Young Money roster…but one 15-year-old singer wants the exact opposite. Torion Sellers has filed suit against Weezy and YM, saying he auditioned for Wayne when he was only 13 and was immediately signed, but Wayne promised to “record and release an album by Spring 2012” for the young singer but here we are in Summer 2013 aaaand…nada. Torion is claiming abandonment and looking to get out of the contract, hoping the judge will approve it because he says Young Money forgot to get court approval of the contract they’d signed with a minor. A judge has yet to rule.

Cash Money CEO Baby and DJ Khaled both took to Twitter to wish their fellow YMCMB affiliate Nicki Minaj a special congrats after she took the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist on the 2013 BET Awards.
