Yesterday, XXL revealed that Drizzy would be working on a joint mixtape with Miami rapper Rick Ross, but would be scrapping a collaborative album with his Young Money CEO, Lil Wayne. No official reason was given for the decision but today XXL reveals the answer, and Drake has a pretty valid point. Check it out below.

I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time.’”
