In the upcoming May issue of Elle Magazine, Rihanna opens up about the controversial make-up between her and her ex, Chris Brown. Many were up in arms when the pair reunited earlier this year for two new tracks, just three years after a domestic violence incident between the two that shocked everyone. Some feel it’s too soon, but RiRi wants them to know they can kiss her…well…you know. Read some excerpts below.

RiRi also credits the 2009 altercation for allowing her to be herself:
