Sources say that 1 in 24 adults have admitted to falling asleep while driving, but the numbers may be higher since theres really no was of telling that everyone was telling the truth, and also because some people don’t realize when they’ve nodded off for a second or two. According to the CDC, drowsy driving is most common in men, ranging from ages 25 to 34 and in those who average less than 6 hours of sleep an night. The government estimates that about 3% of traffic crashes involve drowsy drivers, but other estimates may have that number as high as 33 percent.Looks like we’ve gotta start getting our sleep guys!
