Did Mike Tomlin have a talk with Jason Kidd yesterday? Cause it seems like he was digging into the same bag of tricks that coach Kidd was when he spilled his soda on the court. Yesterday, during the Ravens vs Steelers game, Ravens kick returner Jacoby Jones had pretty much beaten the entire defense of the Steelers down the sidelines and was on his way to returning a kick off for a touchdown. The last thing he expected to see in his way was coach Tomlin. While Jones was streaking down the sideline for a TD, Tomlin stood right on the side of the field with one foot basically on the field of play. At the last second he jumps out of the way, but by then Jones had to move and it slowed him down and he was caught from behind. It looked really obvious that the stunt Tomlin pulled was on purpose. Jones should of ran right over him instead of trying to get out the way. The play cost the Ravens a sure touchdown, but they still won. Hit the jump for the video. What you guys think?

“I always watch the returns on the Jumbotron,” Tomlin told reporters. “It provides a better perspective for me. Obviously, I lost my placement as he broke free. I started at the last second and saw how close I was to the field of play.” Tomlin realizes that, in this specific case, he made a mistake. “I do it quite often like everyone else in the National Football League,” Tomlin said. “I was wrong. I accept responsibility for it.”
