Two young children who were abducted from a Lancaster City, Pa., home by their father and grandfather were found safe on Wednesday morning, and the two men were arrested, authorities said.

Eddie Ahorrio Jr., 23, and his father, Eddie Ahorrio Sr., 47, were arrested in Philadelphia at around 8 a.m. after Pennsylvania State Police stopped their black Nissan Altima on Rt. 1 at the Schuylkill Expressway, a state police spokesman said.

The children were unharmed, Trooper Adam Reed said.

The children were turned over to Lancaster City Police to be reunited with their mother, authorities said.

An Amber Alert for the children was issued Friday after authorities said the two men broke into a woman’s home at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, bludgeoned her boyfriend with a pipe wrench and then took off with the children, authorities said.
Eddie Ahorrio Jr. is the father of the children, John, 4, and Erielys, 3, cops say.
Cops said the pair may have been headed to Massachusetts, though an updated alert issued early Wednesday said the car was spotted traveling through Vineland, N.J.
