Time measured: every song that’s been on the Billboard Top 10 since 1960; the number of hits by each artist currently on that list; and length of the artists’ careers, and evaluated which artists are ultimately the most successful pop-music generators.
And the winner is none other than the DIVA, herself, Mariah Carey!
The final results showed a funky info-graphic highlighting that Michael Jackson had a consistently successful career from 1971 to 1995, and Santana’s career, though lengthy, hasn’t earned as many hits.
