Chris Brown Art Sells for 60K in Miami Auction as the Konfuzed x Kai collection of seven exclusive pieces made in three days were sold for tens of thousands of dollars at a time. Half the proceeds were reported to go to the Arts & Business Council of Miami, definitely a nice sum from ‘something like a’ side-hobby!

The beauty of the actual pieces in which street artist KAI and Chris Brown Art Sells for 60K in Miami Auction is not just in the colors and style of the art–but also in the approach. For instance in Lies vs Life, a 72 inch x 96 inch aerosol and acrylic paint on canvas piece, Kai captioned the following on his Instagram:

“Don’t always believe what you read. The media has taken a living legend, and turned him into a monster. He’s extremely humble down to earth and has wisdom beyond his years. These two pieces were created to give you the contract between the LIES and real LIFE.”

Sticking around for Miami’s Urban Art Week to do something positive and raise money for charity while on the Between the Sheets tour with Tyga, Chris Brown Art Sells for 60K in Miami Auction and previously had this to say about his music-art crossover:

“I think the similarities is just that it’s creativity. I think when it comes to music and when it comes to expression, I think there are so many forms of art and expression you can do, whether it’s dance, whether it’s music, whether it’s art. I think that all of it kind of comes from your brain and you let it out. Your outlet.”
