In an interview with Vlad TV Dej Loaf sat down and addressed the issue that people think she’s a lesbian. She was asked head on to explain her tweet defending the accusations of her sexuality by saying, “LOL, I’m not a dyke. Hoes just love me”. The laid back singer/ rapper nonchalantly laughed off the tweet in only a way that the D-Town sensation could. In recent videos, the Motor City rapper who has infiltrated the mainstream music scene has been showing us a taste of her more womanly side. The recent unveiling of her erotic side in Me U & Hennessy comes as a bit of a shock.
Since then she’s sat down with Nessa to talk preference as to whether she prefers guys or girls. With her sexuality constantly in question I guess she got tired of telling us, and decided to show us instead. The video doesn’t directly say whether she likes men or women exclusively, she leaves that up to her outspoken interviews and subliminal tweets.
Although I do love her versatility, I question the motive for the sudden need to ditch her kicks for a black silk, floor length robe. Did she feel pressured into proving she is feminine by OR has her alleged boy toy, Lil Durk got her feeling a little more girly these days (love can do that to a girl)?
