MMG rapper, Wale visited a Baltimore High School to speak about what’s going on in their city as we speak, and what they can do to resolve all the recent violence of Freddie Gray’s death.

In the video, Wale said “We need each other” , he elaborates by saying “We need our community leaders to come step forward and we need these kids to understand that there’s somebody that believes in them.”

It’s getting super hectic in Baltimore and even worse as we speak. There has been looting all over the city, and even rumors that rival gangs Bloods and Crips had intentions to unite and kill the police. It has been cleared up by the Gang members that they did unite but it was to peacefully protest as appose to hurt anyone but things are totally getting out of hand. Some of your favorite celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith spoke out on what’s currently going on in Baltimore.Professional NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens Ray Lewis has spoken out about what’s going on in their city as well and passionately expressed why all the rioting must end in a home video but it looks like Wale is the only celebrity reported to take action by speaking directly to the cities youth so far.

Here are some more words Wale had for the students of Frederick Douglass High School in Baltimore :

“It’s all about initiative,” he continues. “Extracurricular activities, those things don’t have to be funded by the school, especially when you just sharing ideas. Ideas free. You can go outside and be like, ‘Man yo, let’s meet up at the wop wop.'”

Update : Wale also peacefully protested with Students in Baltimore city from Baltimores’s “Digital Harbor High School Through the streets all the way to the steps of Baltimore City Hall. Wale also spoke with press and expressed why he felt he needed to visit Baltimore and his thoughts on what steps need to be taken to move forward while the wake of this tragic injustice.
