The only time Kanye West tweets is when he’s trying to promote something, whether it be his “love” for Tidal or his magazine covers. Today he has taken to Twitter to stir up some more excitement about his highly-anticipated album. However, instead of giving us an update on when it will finally drop, Yeezy completely threw us all off by announcing a brand new title for his forthcoming project. Find out what he changed it to after the jump!

Kanye West has been keeping his fans on the tip of their toes in regards to his new album. He’s already dropped off several singles like “All Day” in the most flamboyant way possible. However, instead of premiering a new song, ‘Ye has revealed a new change to the follow-up to his 2013 album Yeezus. Earlier today, Kanye tweeted that he is dropping the previous album title So Help Me God for something more mysterious.

The “Only One” rapper is changing is album title to SWISH. He also confused us further with his following tweet that said he might change the title again in the future. There’s a number of things that could have sparked the change, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that “SWISH” is an acronym for something else.

It’s possible that he had a change of heart in regards to the overall direction of the album. Or it could be a nod to a tweet Kanye posted about his wifey Kim. Nonetheless, the fans might get a completely different project than what was expected. It also means that we’ll probably left in the dark about the official release date for a minute, or until he decides to get his life together. Check out the tweets in the gallery.
