The Los Angeles Lakers wound up with the second overall pick in the upcoming June NBA draft and they really shouldn’t be complaining.

Things could have gone very bad for the Lakers last night because had they wound up with the sixth pick or lower, they would have lost it thanks to a previous trade and wound up with no lottery picks.

Luckily for them things turned out pretty decent as they will wind up with likely either Jahlil Okafor or Karl Anthony Towns.

Kobe Bryant was home watching the draft and was a little upset the Lakers didn’t land #1, but that didn’t stop him from firing shots at his own squad for things being the way they are.
