With battle rap constantly being thrown in the limelight of hip hop culture, many new faces are getting involved in it. Who would have even known that Kendrick Lamar used to battle? Fred Money even says that Cassidy would murder Kendrick in a rap battle!

Fred Money and Cassidy recently interviewed with DJ Vlad to discuss hip hop and of course battle rap. Battle rap is a culture that is finally being brought out into the limelight. Cassidy is a well respected lyricist and performer and has privileges when it comes to judging artist.Kendrick Lamar is notoriously keeping hip hop alive and relevant. Its crazy to find out that Kendrick started off as a battle rapper!
