Today, Meek took to Instagram to express his dislike for people accepting Drake’s ‘ghostwriter’ and the current state of hiphop! Check the gallery to see the post!
I don’t think anyone could have predicted the reaction that Meek’s ‘Wanna Know’ track is currently getting. Honestly, I was surprised that Meek didn’t come just a little bit harder after Drake toyed around with his relationship making it seem as if Nicki wears the pants. Further, one of the best points in his rap was when he mentioned that Drake got pissed on; but, he didn’t even rap that part! LOL!
I’m not sure if its just me, but with Meek’s post on Instagram today, it sounds like he is recognizing defeat in this first round. It somewhat comes off as Meek being surprised that people are accepting and actually liking Drake’s response. He compares Drake’s ‘ghostwriter’ to people snitching and still getting respect in the streets. I mean, in a way, Meek is kind of dry snitching on Drake, right?
Chino from MMG posted a video saying that this is just the beginning for Meek though! I was wondering why ‘Wanna Know’ ended with the 50 Cent and Ja-Rule reference when it seemed like there was more to come. In Meek’s post, he also confirmed that there would be more coming, I’m just hoping he doesn’t take as long as he did with this first track to drop!
