Jay-Z made a rare Twitter appearance Tuesday to make a very special announcement. Hov announced that despite the backlash and controversy that once loomed like a black cloud over the streaming service, TIDAL has reached 1 million subscribers. This is great news for Jay-Z, who was rumored not too long ago to be trying to get out of TIDAL. Now, it seems Hov’s here for the long haul and to celebrate TIDAL’s platinum status, he hinted at a celebration in Brooklyn next month.
