Honduras reports stopping 5 Syrians sneaking into their country. The Syrians had stolen Greek passports. They traveled from from Syria, to Lebanon and Turkey, then on to Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica and Honduras. Obviously they really want to get to the U.S.

Police spokesman Anibal Baca confirmed the Syrians were intercepted in Tegucigalpa. Tegucigalpa is a common destination for refugees between Eurasia and the U.S. The Syrians did not immediately seem like terrorists.

The reason for going to so many countries undetected has yet to be found. ESTA, which regulates international travelers without visas, red flagged the passports. Even if the group of five made it to the U.S. border, TSA should have scanned their passports and discovered their stolen status.
