All you’re going to be hearing about today is #Views, views, views so let’s just get it over with. Last night Drake & Zane Lowe were supposed to have a “MAJOR” interview over Beat 1 Radio about Views. Well the interview was about a half hour late (probably intended) leading to fans growing extremely impatient and Apple had to do something. So, they dropped Views a little earlier than expected. Now you can peep the full 1 hour long interview with Drake if you missed it last night. Hit the jump.

Drake spoke on Kanye West and almost creating a “mixtape or album” together. He also went into his relationship with now estranged Nicki Minaj, and how she handled the situation with the infamous Meek Mill & Drizzy beef.

On Kanye:

“We live up the street from each other. I’ll pull up at his house and see what he’s doing. We’ll just sit and collaborate, that’s what music is all about. ‘Ye is one of my favorite people. Period. In the world man. I love ‘Ye. I grew up with him as a role model, he is part of the reason I am here right now.”

“We were supposed to do a mixtape together or an album together.”

Than on Nicki Minaj:

“I don’t really talk to Nicki. Another person I have a lot of love for … She dealt with me how I would expect her to — with class. I always have respect and love for her. Unfortunately, we haven’t spoke.”

He also goes into the overall inspiration and creative process behind Views, and why he chose to leave The Throne off the album version of “Pop Style”. Check out the interview below:
