Word on the street is that Bradley Cooper wanted Gaga as the lead role for a while now, but she was indecisive. Now it looks like we could possibly see that happening.

After both Beyonce and Clint Eastwood backed out, for their own reasons, the status of the film was in question. But Clint Eastwood passed the torch along to Bradley Cooper, (making his firs directorial debut) and Cooper did an awesome job in scouting Gaga in the process. Personally, I think that was a great choice because Gaga seems perfect for the role (depending on what they’re planning to do with it).

This will mark the third time the film is remade! The first one came out in 1937, the second, 1954, and the third in 1976. Warner Bros. is aiming for Feburary 2017, for the start of the production.

Not bad, Gaga. Coming off her Golden Globe-winning performance in “American Horror Story: Hotel,” she looks to take it a step further in the acting realm. Much props and best of luck to her. Can’t wait for it’s release.
