Earlier this year, troubled rapper Azealia Banks endorsed Donald Trump – despite the fact that being a black woman is a double negative in Trump’s book. She’s probably broke too, as all of her antics have dried any opportunities up, so that’s three strikes from the Trump administration, but alas…

“Ok so, I think I’m ready to admit that I’m going to vote for Donald Trump,” Banks tweeted back in February. “I think Trump is the only one who truly has the balls to bust up big business. Hilary is too tied in with them and Bernie has no clout. The other candidates are simply … “Them hoes over there” #thots”

She would go on to delete the tweets, and then just last month following the controversial video of Trump’s “grab them by the p*ssy” comments, she took back her endorsement.

“i made a major mistake endorsing toupey-toupee. Womens rights are important and we must protect them. I tried…. I reached …. I even carried …… I take it all back. I feel so dumb for ever having added my two cents to this election mess. I tried being a vigilant citizen , seeing as being up on it seemed to be the responsible thing to do… but instead I alienated loads of my fans and followers. I deeply regret mixing music and politics as I am now finding it nearly impossible to keep up with the election and the media frenzy. I’m finding myself confused and disinterested. I really hope my fans and peers can forgive me for that as I make a promise to never mix music and politics ever again. One seems to be the antithesis of the other huh?”

Welp, seems like she wants to get into Trump’s good graces now that he’s officially our President. She took to social media in a series of posts, celebrating his win and finding “vindication” that he beat the “liberal media” and that Beyoncé, Jay Z and Pharrell’s “shucking and jiving” didn’t help Hillary. The irony in her words…
