Wiz Khalifa’s 20-year-old uncle, Imani Porter, was killed last night from a single gunshot to the head while sitting in a car in the parking lot of a Steak ‘n Shake at The Waterfront near his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. According to detectives, two African American men took off on foot and were then picked up down the road along Waterfront Drive by an older, white Pontiac Bonneville. Police are actively searching for the 2 suspects. They also reveal there was heroin found in the car that Imani was shot in, as well as in the parking lot, so they believe that is a part of the motive. I did a quick web search hoping to find some photos of Imani, and though nothing came up, I did find this record of an arrest in 2011, also drug-related. “My uncle was younger and more level headed than all of us. Official Coachella 2014 Lineup Announced: Outkast, Nas, Pharrell, Beck, A$AP Ferg & More!
The official lineup for this year’s annual Coachella festival has been announced, and it’s going to be a good one! As previously speculated, Outkast is BACK and will be hitting the stage, as well as Nas, Pharrell, Beck, A$AP Ferg and so many more! The dual weekend format is still in place, going down the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21. Most advance tickets are already sold out as they went on sale almost a year ago, but a limited quantity of general admission weekend passes will go on sale this Friday, January 10, at 10 a.m. on Coachella’s site. French Montana Reveals ‘Mac & Cheese 4’ Will Be His Sophomore Album!
French Montana’s Mac & Cheese mixtape series is quite popular amongst his hardcore fan base, and some time ago, the Bronx rapper announced the fourth installment was in the works. In a new interview with Sowmya Krishnamurthy for Rolling Stone, he revealed that instead of another free mixtape, MC4 is actually going to serve as his sophomore album! “I’m going back to the essence on this album,” French said of the follow up to his 2013 debut via Bad Boy/Interscope, Excuse My French. “We’re giving the fans that grew up on me what they want. When we made the other music, it was just to be a little different and not do the same thing over.” He hopes to have the first single out in the next two months. Haaan!
