Getting ready to launch their new device Samsung releases a new teaser video. With only 10 days away from the annuncement Samsung gives us something to hold on to. “4.99-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2.1-megapixel front-facing one. The Galaxy S IV will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, according to the blog.Last week, there were reports that shoppers could pick from six versions of the Galaxy S IV, including a 64GB model.”


$1 Billion Green Bank To Benefit New York Clean Energy Economy

Gov. Andrew Cuomo in his 2013 State of the State address proposed a $1 Billion Green Bank to draw in private sector money, mixing it with public funding, and concentrating on clean energy initiatives. The bank would make it easier for Energy companies to operate and it would attract private investment as well as providing low risk low cost financing for energy efficiency programs and renewable energy projects. Gov. Cuomo announced Robert Kauffman as the Senior Advisor to Energy Secretary, Steven Chu. Kauffman would be the head of the Energy efficiency council and also run the Bank. Hit the jump for more.


Groupon Fires CEO Andrew Mason

  At the end of 2012 the board at Groupon wanted to get rid of then CEO Andrew Mason, after the company had a failure of a 3rd quarter. The news of Mason’s exit comes one day after Groupon reported yet another bad quarter . The company has had a number of bad quarters I guess it was time to shake up things. On a web post the fired CEO said”I’ve decided that I’d like to spend more time with my family. Just kidding — I was fired today,” Mason wrote in a memo he posted to Jottit.com, which promptly crashed. “If you’re wondering why… you haven’t been paying attention.  And then he said he would like to go to a”fat camp” so he can “lose the Groupon 40.  


Google Founder Says Google Glass Dropping This Year But For How Much???

Google co-founder Sergey Brin and the man of the hour with Google glass took the stage earlier today to talks about the unknown and unreleased project known as Google Glass. The project is 2 years in the making. Brin thinks the glasses will be the way of the future and the days of checking your smartphone consisntely will be a thing of the past. Brin says he isa victim of checking email and social media updates on his smartphone because he thought “as if it was something really important.” It was comparable to a smoking habit, he said. “I had a nervous tic. But with Google Glass, I’ve really enjoyed exploring the world more.”The one thing Brin comfirmed was the Google glass will be released by years end for a whopping $1,500. “You’re standing rubbing this featureless piece of glass,” Brin said. “Is this the way we were meant to use our bodies? You want something that will free your eyes.”


Music Labels Say They Are OK With Google Stream Service

We all know both Google and Apple is looking to get into the music stream business but it looks like the music business is looking to open it arms with Google and not Apple. As Apple has been working on a deal with the major music labels for sometime now. Music exces are saying with Google entering the streaming business will be a welcomed change. Are the record labels tired of Apple and its dominance in the music biz? When Google does launch its music service its said the service will mirror and compete against Spotify. “Google is a massive organisation with the many parts it operates, such as the search business and the device business and the music business with respect to YouTube and streaming,” he said. “Like all search engines, there is a problem; we’re asking all search engines to prioritize legal services. We know that search engines are a primary route for consumers to be able to find music and hope all search engines will implement those changes.”
