It’s been no secret, since the Black Lives Matter movement began there have been much debate on what the term actually means. Some people take the phrase out of context with the belief that what’s being said is that ‘Only Black Lives Matter’, while others understand the real reasoning behind the words; including President Barack Obama. Today, while Obama was also addressing the criminal just system, which includes sentencing issues, he took the time to announce his stance on the Black Lives Matter movement. “I think everybody understands that all lives matter,” he began.
