If you thought Lil’ Wayne was really retiring after The Carter V, think again! While answering a few questions on Ask.fm, Bryan Williams Jr. (Birdman’s REAL son) said that Wayne won’t be stopping after C5. Young Money Announces Second Compilation Album [Title + Release Date]
The Young Money crew will be releasing their sophomore album come this Spring. With no warning, they dropped “We Alright” just moments ago, featuring YMCMB CEOs Lil Wayne and Birdman, along with their newest signee, Euro. They followed this up with an announcement, revealing that this would be the lead single to their new album, Young Money: Rise Of An Empire, dropping on March 11th. Their debut, We Are Young Money, spawned multiple successful singles back when it dropped in 2010, including “Every Girl” and “Bedrock.” Some of you may be confused what the difference is between the Rich Gang compilation that dropped this summer and this album now: Young Money consists solely of Weezy and HIS artists…while Rich Gang encompasses both Young Money and Cash Money artists.
