Jim Jones Speaks On Beef With Cam’Ron

Earlier this year, Jim Jones and Cam’Ron got a little petty on Instagram. On the anniversary of the Diplomats‘ debut album, Diplomatic Immunity Volume 1, Jim posted the album cover on his page, and added in the caption, “Somebody tell #KillaCam to unblock me lol.” A couple of weeks later, they took a few shots at each other in the comments of one of Cam‘s photos – but it was nothing out of the realm of usual sibling pettiness. (They’re not actually brothers, but they might as well be.)

Cam’Ron Releases New Web Show ‘Giles Investigation’

Cam’Ron has a big year ahead of him. As he crafts what is reportedly set to be his final album, the Harlem rapper has debuted a brand new web series, and revealed that he is his own sneaker coming with Reebok in a few months. Lit! Giles Investigation will take Cam throughout his old hood, finding and interviewing some of the known drug dealers from back in his day. In the debut episode, Cam speaks to a man named Face, who went on from drug dealing to become a notable comic on Def Comedy Jam and Comic View. The series lives on YouTube for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Killa inked a deal with maybe TIDAL or even Apple, as they’re now pushing for original programming as well.
