A huge protest broke out yesterday at what was suppose to be a Donald Trump protest. Trump canceled the protest due to security issues and protestors. One Chicago officer had his head bloodied as a result of the protest.

22 year old Dwight Boone-Doty has also been charged with the murder of Tyshawn Lee. Boone-Doty actually lured Lee into an alley before killing him. Lee was killed execution style as a part of a gang retaliation against a gang that his father was in.

Chicago is currently experiencing its highest murder rate in approximately 16 years. There has been about 51 homicides in just the first month of 2016 alone. Police are saying that Chicago has experienced a raise in violence but they have no idea where its coming from.

Reports State That Chicago Cop Who Shot & Killed LaQuan McDonald Purposely Broke Dash-Cam
While every American citizen has the right to due process, this is a case that is open and shut. Jason Van Dyke, the Chicago police officer who shot Black teenager, Laquan McDonald 16 times, not only “failed to sync the MICS,” so that during certain times audio could not be used, but he is also being accused of intentionally destroying his patrol car dash-cam on numerous occasions. According to a report obtained by DNAinfo Chicago, he and other officers in the area totaled 1,800 of the maintenance logs that showed the tampering of dash-cams.
