(Video) NBA: Draymond Green Kicks Steven Adams in the Groin For 2nd Time & Says It Unintentional

The Golden State Warriors got blown out of the arena by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night 133-105, with OKC taking a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals.  Though the Warriors couldn’t land a punch, Draymond Green landed a kick “straight to the jewels” of Steven Adams, according to the New Zealander.

Kobe Bryant doesn’t have many friends in the league but he does form bonds with players he sees himself in, including Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook and the latest Draymond Green.  During his 20th and final season in the NBA, Kobe zeroed in on Green, chatting with the young player during All-Star weekend and continuing to text throughout the season.  Green has been known for being outspoken, aggressive and a competitor so it’s no surprise Kobe latched onto him.  Bryant considers Draymond to be a “rare breed”, and one that can create the friction The Black Mamba believes every championship team needs.

Draymond Green is a known trash talker among his NBA peers and he feels there are few players he can’t get to. He’s mentioned in the past that he attempted to get inside Kevin Durant’s head but all he would basically do is get buckets and make him feel like he was nothing. Turns out Tim Duncan is another player Draymond feels he could never get to but for a different reason.

The Portland Trail Blazers started off strong on Monday night and seemed to have a viable chance to even the series up.  But the Golden State Warriors were resilient and Stephen Curry returned to MVP mode in overtime, scoring an NBA record of 17 points as the Warriors won 132-125 in OT.  The Warriors will now go back to Oakland with a commanding 3-1 series lead and a chance to wrap it up on their own court.  Are the Blazers done?  Well Draymond Green seems to think so.


NBA: Draymond Green Says Warriors Literally Laughed At Jason Terry’s Guarantee That Houston Would Win Game 5

Because Jason Terry is not the player he once was, some of you may have not even known he had guaranteed a game five victory for his Houston Rockets over the Warriors. As you know by now, the Warriors made easy work of Houston, beating them 114-81 and putting them out of their misery. Some of the Warriors players heard about the guarantee and even though they respect Terry, they had a good laugh at his expense.

Well it looks like a reporter who wanted to create some type of controversy or buzz for himself got his wish. Earlier this week, during the post game press conference after game four, Draymond Green went off on a reporter for asking him questions about the floods in Houston. Green revealed the the same reporter had asked him the same questions in private previously and when he tried to do it again, Green felt he was trying to be dragged into something controversial and he wasn’t having it. Now, according to reports, the same reporter was fired about an hour after the press conference.
