Sports: Derek Jeter Denies Ever Saying 50 Cent Was “Too Urban” To Be Part Of Underwear Line

Derek Jeter is firing back at claims he didn’t want to work with 50 Cent because he allegedly said he was “too urban”. Jeter in fact is claiming he was actually the one who set up the meeting between 50 and Frigo, the Swedish underwear line at the center of this nonsense.

(Photos) LADIES! Guess Which Male Rapper Is Stripping Down To His Undies For A New Underwear Ad?!

50 Cent is quite the business man and always seems to be finding new projects to get involved with. He recently put out a line of FRIGO RevolutionWear underwear, which go for about $100 a pop for the exclusive joints. However, instead of hiring a professional model for the ad campaign for the undies, Fif just decided to take on that role himself. He stripped down to show off the expensive underwear along with giving us a nice view of his abs and cut-up body. Too bad girls can’t wear them because after seeing this, I’m SURE some female fans would make that purchase. Check out Fif’s new ad for his underwear line in the gallery. Fellas– would you drop $100 a pair on these fly undies?!

The beauty of legendary rappers who stay in the game is seeing the evolution of everything they came in crushing. While some artists scream “I’m a hustler” on wax as protocol, others put in work and push promotion. South-side Jamaica Queens’ own Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent Now Selling $100 Underwear is yet another installment in the saga of true “Hustler’s Ambition.” On the heels of a $78 million deal with the RevolutionWear Frigo brand which is now hinted to include the likes of Timbaland, Derek Jeter and Carmelo Anthony, 50’s been ramping up promo. Check out his latest appearance on Seth Meyers discussing what else is ahead for the SMS Audio founder and where he breaks down the hand stitched “special technology” for those ummm…”man apples” (his words!)
