That Was Quick: Joe Budden Is Single Once Again…And It Looks Like We’ll Be Getting A Song Out Of It!

Joe Budden & Audely

Less than a month after going public with his new relationship, rapper Joe Budden is a single man once again. Though he didn’t give too much detail as to what occurred between him and bottle waitress Audely, judging but Joey’s tweets, it appears social media played a factor…and that we’re going to be getting a song about the breakup! (If it’s anything like that infamous “OLS3” – this is going to be GOOD!)

Check out Joe’s tweets in the gallery for a little more about the breakup. Do you think they’ll be getting back together, or this is done for good?

(Photos) Reunited At Last! Joe Budden Pictured In The Studio With Long-Time Rival Ransom

IFWT_joe_budden_ransom

Looks like Jersey emcees Joe Budden and Ransom have finally put all the beef behind them and have reunited in the studio! The two had a small convo on Twitter a few months ago revealing that they had peaced up the issues from their rocky past. However, after Joey’s fellow Jersey rapper affiliate Tsu Surf posted a pic of the three of them in the studio, it became official that it is ALL GOOD on both sides. The beef between Joe and Ransom sparked a few years ago, resulting in a bunch of diss tracks and even alleged physical altercations. Before all of the drama, the two Jersey City rappers were very close leading all the way back to the A-Team days when Budden put both Ransom and Hitchcock on. It’s always good to see talented emcees from Jersey link up and do work on a track. Can’t wait to hear what these three have brewing up in the studio! Check out the flicks in the gallery. #JERSEYYYYYYYY!

(Video) Lil Wayne – Weezy Wednesdays [Episode 21: Total Slaughter Battle Review]

Weezy Wednesdays episode 21

Lil Wayne ventured into talk of battle rap for his latest webisode of Weezy Wednesdays, inspired by this past weekend’s ‘Total Slaughter’ battle. Though he has yet to watch and doesn’t know the outcome of their battle, Tune shared his excitement over Murda Mook and Loaded Lux getting back in the ring, but made sure he let the world know he’s still Team Jae Millz…since Mook and Millz had quite the battle back in the early 00′s on Smack DVD. You’ve gotta ride with the home team!

He also gave a shout out to Joe Budden, of whom he’s aware lost to Hollow Da Don, but couldn’t comment too much on it because again, he’s yet to see the battle. Tune added that he feels there’s no real loss in battle, particularly with an established artist like Joe, because he looks at it as a sport, and if you can still craft dope music, you’ll never lose. Do you agree? Listen to his logic in episode 21 of “Weezy Wednesdays” below and let us know your thoughts!

Joe Budden Explains Why He Didn’t Finish Third Round During ‘Total Slaughter’

Joe Budden vs Hollow Da Don

This past weekend, battle rappers united for the long anticipated “Total Slaughter” event. For the main event, Joe Budden went against Hollow Da Don. During the third round, Joe was trying to get some bars out when the crowd started booing him. He wanted his mic to be cut off and said he’s done. Everyone was shocked and didn’t quite understand why the Mood Gawd would do that. However, there was a method behind his madness!

“It didn’t get to me mentally at all, which is the thing,” Joey said. “In my profession, you don’t rap over boos. It’s like Rapper 101 to know that if you at a show and n***as is booing, ‘Ya’ll, go ahead and boo. I got paid already.’ I’m either gonna wait for ya’ll to stop or I’m getting the f**k outta here. But in battle rap it’s very different. You gotta deal with it. You gotta rap over it. You can’t let it look like it is affecting you. It wasn’t that I was mad they was booing. I don’t give a f**k about boos. But my thing in my head was, ‘My mic is already bad and I really do have some shit in this third if I could just get it out.’ I can’t fight a bad mic and a million people booing. But once you threaten people that are booing, they’re just gonna boo more. That’s exactly what happened.” WELP FOLKS, there you have it! Still #TeamBudden all day everyday.

Joe Budden Speaks On Losing #TotalSlaughter Battle Against Hollow Da Don

Joe Budden vs Hollow Da Don

On Saturday night, Joe Budden made a huge move as an established artist stepping into the battle world and going against Hollow Da Don for “Total Slaughter.” Though his bars were CRAZY and he arguably bested Hollow 2-1, he kind of gave the W away when he put his mic down in the third round because he didn’t want to rap over the crowd’s boo’s. Many said Joey was putting his career on the line in this battle, but he seems pretty at peace with the outcome. Check out what he’s saying on Twitter in the gallery! What did you think of the event?
