Joe Budden’s + Ebro In The Morning’s Reactions To Drake Bringing Out Eminem

Drake made quite the moment on stage last night in Detroit, bringing out the city’s hometown hero, Eminem, to perform their 2009 song, “Forever.” While this is a moment in and of itself, the impact it had was that much more, considering the rumors that circulated last week about the pair having beef because of Eminem’s close affiliation to Joe Budden. As you know, the rumor was started when Ebro referenced a convo with Drake where he joked about the possibility of a diss from Em on Joe‘s behalf, and listeners thought he was saying it was a serious conversation.

Yesterday, reports started circulating that Eminem was going to jump in the Drake x Joe Budden beef (because Joe is signed to him under Slaughterhouse,) and that Drizzy was more than ready to diss him. This came from a conversation Ebro Darden shared on his Hot 97 morning show, Ebro In The Morning, where he recanted his time at OVO Fest and his one-one-time with Drake. Problem is, he was saying the Eminem thing in jest, but people took it and ran with it to the point that it became a number one trending topic.

Always the shade thrower, Drake has decided to follow the teen who showed up at Joe Budden’s house over the weekend and proceeded to shout out OVO and harass the New Jersey rapper. Drizzy has done this before, so this isn’t new – but still interesting. Will he continue to leave the Joe shots as subliminal bars, social media trolling and a line on stage, or will he really respond on wax, as Joe has been urging him to do? Guess we’ll see!
