Kanye West released an album around this time last summer, and after only promoting a couple of singles from the project, he’s been pretty silent on the music front. Instead, Yeezy has been focusing on his new family – considering they had a major wedding and all – but according to his new cover story with GQ Magazine, we’ll be getting some new tunes from the G.O.O.D. Music CEO in the near future! Kanye revealed that the song is titled “All Day,” and that he tried to take inspiration from Jay’s flow and delivery on it. As far as a timeline, he’s not too sure when we’ll get it – but he’s hoping soon! “I hope I can get one of these songs out in the next couple of weeks, just to have something up and running,” Ye told GQ. “But I think most likely September. I go back and forth. Like, should it be September or should it be October? Should it be November? When Beyoncé was working on her last album, she took a while. I was thinking it could somehow come out in June, like Yeezus, and just kill it for the summer. But then I’m like, I have to work on Adidas and be with my child.” Are you looking forward to new music from Kanye?

Dame Dash recently called out Kanye during a interview on Shade 45’s VIP Saturdays. The former Roc-a-fella representative says that he’s “a little tight with Kanye” because the big star hasn’t reached out to Biggs (fellow Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder) or checked in on Biggs’ family, when it was him who made sure Kanye was given his shot at fame, or so Dame says.
