NBA: Kevin Durant Reacts to Not Being Voted in as an NBA All-Star Starter

When you think of superstars in the league a few names come to mind like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and now Stephen Curry.  However one of those names was not voted in as an NBA All Star this year and he’s the league’s reigning MVP and scoring champion, Kevin Durant.  Unfortunately he was hit with an injury and has appeared in just 19 of his team’s 42 games this season, and as a result, has remained largely invisible from the national spotlight. He finished just fifth in the West in All-Star voting for frontcourt players — more than 800,000 votes behind Anthony Davis, and almost 250,000 votes behind Marc Gasol.  So how does he feel about that?

Kevin Durant is making sure his name stays in the highlights. Couple nights ago he had an angry posterizing dunk over Wizards Marcin Gortat, but he wasn’t satisfied with that because he just went coast to coast against the Hawks and threw it down with some more anger. The Thunder look like they are about to get on a roll, but are currently locked in a tight game with the Hawks.

While many of the Wizards fans in the arena were lobbying for Kevin Durant to join their team, he put on quite a show to only make them want him more.  The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Washington Wizards 105-103 in overtime.  Russell Westbrook put up an amazing 32 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and the game winning layup.  His partner in crime, Durant put up 34 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists as well as the highlight of the night with this soul-taking dunk over Marcin Gortat.

NBA: Kevin Durant Says ‘KD2DC’ Movement is “Cool” But He Never Thought About Playing For Wizards

On Wednesday night the Oklahoma City Thunder faced the Washington Wizards and one thing that was on everybody’s mind (pregame at least) was the KD2DC movement.  Kevin Durant won’t become a free agent until 2016 but with the emergence of the Wizards being a great team and with LeBron getting everyone on a “going home” kick, many have speculated and pushed for Durant to play in D.C.  Though the superstar remains coy about his future plans, there’s no doubt that he’s heard the rumblings going on and last night he had no choice but to face them.

NBA: Durant & Westbrook Move Dion Waiters’ Locker Closer to Theirs & Away From Reggie Jackson

Kevin Durant has made it very clear that he wants Dion Waiters to “feel wanted” after being traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Oklahoma City Thunder.  In order to help Waiters bond and become more comfortable, Durant had Dion Waiters’ locker moved.

NBA: Dion Waiters Thinks He’s Better Than Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant Throws Shot at Cavs

Though they tried to deny it, it was no secret that there were issues between Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving.  Waiters thought he should be started and wanted to get his hands on the ball more but that situation only worsened with the addition of LeBron James and Kevin Love.  Everyone knew it was inevitable that Waiters would be traded and on Monday it finally happened as he was sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
