(Photos) L’Oreal Places Makeup Vending Machine In NYC Subway

From now through the end of December, NYC subway riders who pass through the 42nd Street/Bryant Park stop will be privy to L’Oréal’s “Intelligent Color Experience.” The campaign features an interactive vending machine where you can buy new makeup products, with a mirror that pops up with digital animations showing potential makeup combinations and offer products (which you can buy on the spot) that either “Match” or “Clash” with whatever you’re wearing. Sounds like an awesome way to get the word out about their latest products!

MAC Sells Out Of Rihanna’s RiRi Woo Lipstick In A Whopping Three Hours !

RiRi Woo, the MAC Lipstick shade created in collaboration with Rihanna, sold out online in three hours!! During that time, “RiRi Woo” was trending on Twitter as customers complained of multiple failed attempts to get through to make the purchase. The collaboration was announced in February and at the time, Jennifer Balbier, senior VP of global product development for MAC said Rihanna insisted that “the color be suitable for every skin tone.” The next time the shade will be available will be in June. But for those with tickets to the Diamonds World Tour’s stop at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (ahem!) you can buy them on-site at a MAC pop-up store that will be set up in the arena. The Kardashian sisters have launched their new makeup line Khroma, which is set to release the line at stores around the country all month. Unfortunately, no one stopped to check what other makeup lines there were out there.
