Manolo Rose received a bit of backlash on social media last week, after the Brooklyn rapper RT’d a tweet that said that Troy Ave should have died when he got shot at the T.I. show in NYC. Despite their longstanding feud and many peoples’ disdain for Troy, most still felt this was way out of line. Eventually, Manolo clarified his comments briefly in an Instagram post, and now explains further in his new Ebro In The Morning interview.

“I laughed [at the tweet] because I was like, This is crazy. I retweeted it because it was crazy. Then people started saying I am wishing death on him. We’ve had our issues… but it’s over. We’ve never sat down or anything like that… I think sometimes those type of things get overrated.”

Manolo also speaks on his new project, Soul of a Rose, talks that BK bullsh*t and more!
