Method Man got his break with the Wu-Tang Clan when they made their official debut in 1993. However, his career didn’t skyrocket until one of his most memorable songs hit the airwaves. It’s been 20 years to the day (Apr 25) since “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By” featuring Mary J. Blige made it’s debut. Since then, both Blige and the Staten Island rapper have flourished into the successful entertainers they are today. Mary J. Blige Opens Up About Her Painful Past & Overcoming Abuse!

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is back at it with her new documentary The London Sessions which documents the recording process of her 13 albums recorded in the UK. With the help from Sam Smith, Disclosure, Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy and Sam Romans, the 45-minute special shows both the good and the bad of her life, pin-pointing the hardships she’s went through over the years including abuse and drama. When asked about taking responsibility for her own mistakes she said, “It was a disastrous. And a lot of it came from not paying attention; a lot of it came from just trusting the wrong people. And it was a wake up call, it was a huge humongous wake up call for me to say ‘Look, you don’t need any of these people around and I’m going to make sure that you see how fast they run when this happens.’ And it was just the biggest wake up call ever.”

Just when we thought the line-up for the 2015 Grammy Award performances couldn’t get any better, it has been announced that the queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige will be joining Sam Smith on stage to perform a duet together. Mary broke the news via her Twitter page and her loyal fans are super excited! Sam Smith is one of the top nominees for the GRAMMYs this year, so I’m sure he’ll be walking away with a few awards. Other performers include Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Madonna, Pharrell, Usher, Common, John Legend and many, many more.
