Phil Jackson was sure to reiterate that he has no intentions on returning to coaching but he did shed some insight on his protege Brian Shaw and where he should go.  Shaw’s name has come up often in coaching searches, even as Jackson’s successor for the Lakers but still he is without a head coaching position.  This particular postseason left plenty of worthy vacancies open.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Phil Jackson Talking Trash About The Pistons…But Why Now?

Damn Phil, you got 11 rings as a coach, do you really have to sound like a hater now? Phil Jackson coached in the NBA finals 13 times, winning 11 of those times. NBA: Kobe Might Not Be Happy About This! Phil Jackson Reveals A Different Side To Kobe

If anyone knows Kobe Bryant (besides family), it’s Phil Jackson.  We’ve gotten to see more of Kobe’s personality since he’s joined Twitter & Instagram, but we don’t get to see a lot of the behind the scenes type stuff.  This really doesn’t come as a surprise to me , but the Zen Master has revealed that Kobe is “very sensitive” to criticism.  I don’t know any man that wants to be called sensitive. NBA: Phil Jackson Is Defending Derrick Rose?

If anyone knows about Chicago and it’s hardcore Bulls fans, it’s Phil Jackson. And if you are a Chicago sports fan, when Phil talks, you listen. During this past season, it seemed everyone and their mama had an opinion about what Derrick Rose should do. Everyone wanted to compare what Adrian Peterson did coming back from the same ACL injury in his knee, or how Iman Shumpert, who injured his ACL literally the same day as Derrick Rose last year, was able to come back earlier this season and play. Rose took a different path and decided he was not ready to return, and I agree with his decision. He still has 10-15 years of high level basketball left and millions and millions of more dollars to worry about. Why risk blowing his future completely if he did not feel ready. Phil had quite a bit to say on the topic as well, check it out after the jump.

NBA: Guess Who Phil Jackson’s First Pick Would Be If He Was Starting an NBA Team? [Hint: It’s Not MJ or Kobe]

I love when legends in the game answer these types of questions!  Phil Jackson was asked if he was given the choice of any player in NBA history to start a franchise – who would it be?!  Most assumed he would say Michael Jordan. Nope. Kobe? Nope.  Check out the Zen Master’s answer after the jump…
